Eleven months already!
Since last month Micah's really gotten into the walking thing. It's what he wants to do ALL.THE.TIME. Problem being, he isn't independently walking yet so we have to walk in circles in the tiny apartment to keep him happy. He sure doesn't seem to mind, just grabs our hands, walks from one thing to the next to grab on or bang on, and when he's done puts his hand up so we can walk him to the next thing. He's staaaaaarting to stand on his own, getting his balance just right and then letting go of our hands. It lasts a bit, not quite a minute...but he's getting there. In the past few days he's also gotten good enough that he can walk around holding just one finger, it's so cute to be walking around next to him like he's just holding my hand...it doesn't seem like he will need that much longer.
I think Micah is also trying to get up on his own. He has ended up on his face every time so far, but he's determined to stand if someone isn't willing to walk him around. Maybe if he used some furniture to help it would go better for him, but he tries to get his feet under him in the middle of the room. Not working so well (yet!)
Micah has suddenly really dropped the nursing. He's almost completely down to nap time and bed time....almost overnight. He's drinking whole milk at meals. Not so interested in juice so far. Will try (and eat) just about ANYTHING. I'm still really surprised that he eats TACO MEAT with us! It's not like we get anything super spicy because Isaiah eats it, but it was still more spices than I expected him to be okay with. He LOVES anything with chicken. We've also started letting him try the potential allergens. Peanut butter is fine. Strawberry flavored puffs are okay. He's had fish, too. No troubles so far.
In just the past few nights, Micah has decided he's deathly afraid of bath time. I don't know if this is related to me accidentally turning the shower on to fill up the tub the other night, or something else entirely. Strangely enough, he's FINE when Isaiah is in the bathroom but if he leaves (or gets out of the tub first) tears and screaming. Not even kidding.
Also, I thought Micah was getting his sixth tooth the other day due to incredible amounts of drool and fussiness...but nothing appeared so I suppose that's not happening yet.

I can't believe this boy will be A YEAR in just a few more weeks!
