I love being able to backdate entries...later it will make it seem like I'm more on top of things than I really am! Though I guess writing such things gives away that I'm NOT on to of things. Oh well.
So. This year was Micah's second Easter, but the first one that he was really aware of. Last year he was...what? Two-and-a-half weeks old. Granted, he won't remember this one either, but at least he participated.

Actually, the day started with Isaiah waking up butt-crack early like he always does. He MIGHT have been up before 6:00, but I honestly can't remember. I went down with him so he could have his basket and find the eggs the Easter bunny had hidden. I made him leave one for Micah to "find" and he got to open the others.
Micah also woke up early, but probably because Isaiah was being loud and excited. He certainly didn't understand why we were taking pictures so early but he got into things quickly. It certainly helped that he got some things to shake and make noise with!

Then it was time to get ready for church! I must say, I have ADORABLE little boys!
After church we came home for a bit, then headed to my mom's for Easter food and LOTS of egg hiding. After we had some cinnamon rolls, Micah got to open some birthday presents (since his family party had been cancelled due to SNOW!)

Other than that it was a lot of family time and a lot of great food. A new game was played and enjoyed by all (jump rope to grave to church doors?). Isaiah had a FANTASTIC time playing with Joel and Curtis. And the boys were worn out after all the excitement and missing naps.
