Conversations with Isaiah 02.020

Every night, at some point in our walk Isaiah asks to be carried, usually we tell him he has to walk because he wanted to go on the walk. Tonight, Jeremy told Isaiah he couldn't carry him because he was carrying the spare leash. Isaiah walked a few more steps, took the leash from Jeremy and gave it to me, then went back and again asked Jeremy to carry him.

What a little problem solver! Once we got done cracking up, Jeremy picked Isaiah up and carried him for a while.

Movies with a 2 year old

Isaiah had a GREAT time seeing Cars 2 today...not watching the movie, but running up and down in the aisle. At least we were the only ones there!

Done With Diapers (For Now)

Isaiah recently decided he HATES diapers. Hates. Seriously. So last night we let him sleep without a diaper on. And he stayed DRY! Sure, it's not been the first night he's been dry....his diapers have been dry several times a week. Really, he can hold it, it's just a matter of a) getting him to potty RIGHT before bed and b) getting him to potty as soon as he gets up. It's SO exciting, though. I'm really hoping I'm done buying diapers (until next March).

Conversation with Isaiah 02.016

Isaiah keeps telling me that a spider poked him in the eye and flew away. I just don't know what to make of that.
